MMC (7/3/2015)

A beautiful maiden sat by her palace window, gazing downwards at the glittering lights below.  A vibrant red ribbon lay atop her head, in exact coloration with her naturally red lips.  At last she stood, crossed her chambers, and retrieved a black cape. She flung it over her shoulders and lifted the hood up over her head, hiding her visage.
Now that I have the great Dragon in my possession, thought she,
the prince will be all too easy to entice.
She smiled smugly and departed from the room, walking swiftly down the dark halls until she reached the other side.  To those who didn’t pay close attention, they would not see her walk straight through the walls as though they were not there.  Once passing this point, she was greeted by a
clay passage, leading out to a drawbridge that lay above a great ocean of lava.  The maiden lifted her eyes to the end of the bridge, beholding a knight clad in armor.  The man grasped a sword in his hand. “I have come to rescue the dragon!”  He shouted.
“So you have.”  The beautiful maiden replied.
The man regarded her unwaveringly.  “You must release the beast!”
She smirked, “Or what?”  Her lips then moved upwards in a gentle smile.  “Come, Raymond, let us not quarrel.”
“No,” he shook his head vigorously.  “I will not succumb to your beguiling powers again, Mordraya!  You fooled me once, but not again.”
“Now,” He stated, raising his falchion high into the air.  “You will release the dragon!”
The maiden smiled hauntingly.  “Come and get him yourself.”
The knight followed her into the palace, all the while keeping in mind what he so often struggled to realize—
She was like a rose, deceptively beautiful, until someone got close enough to be pricked.
